Korean OWHC Students Association which is designed to support the “Youth on the Trail of World Heritage” consists of 13 school social clubs from 8 member schools. They conduct their own activities including participating local festivals, carrying out their own research project, or Volunteering as docents on heritage sites in their own cities.

In order to strengthen the bond between member schools and establish a strong network of the Youth Groups, we organized “The Second OWHC Students Association Summer Camp” from 26th to 28th of July, with more than 150 high school students.

The students participated in a various activities including “Drawing a Hanging Painting”, “OWHC-AP World Heritage Nomination”, and “Field Trip to World Heritage Sites of Gyeongju”. By taking part in such activities, students of different cities exchanged their ideas, knowledge and works they are doing in their towns. The students thus became aware of the universal value of their heritage and the challenges involved in the management of heritage on the international level.
